I am an artist working across a range of mediums, I primarily use acrylic, gouache, and spray paint to create expressive, layered works.

My practice explores a variety of subjects, with a recurring focus on animals and birds, capturing their character and presence through bold mark-making and colour - but equally enjoy the depths you can create painting in monochrome. Alongside my studio work, I am fortunate to run my own gallery, The Craft House in Woodbridge, providing a space to share both my work and a wider creative dialogue.

Hi, I'm Kerry, the artist behind Kerry Watson Art. I am a very creative person and loving making art, especially pieces inspired by animals wildlife. I use them as the heart of my work while exploring a modern style.

I love experimenting with texture, colour, and a mix of materials to bring each piece to life, trying to capture both the energy and personality in a fresh, contemporary way.

Reg Siger is a self-taught artist who, for the last 30 years has specialised in depicting old cottages, farmhouses, village and town scenes.

Reg’s work concentrates on the historical aspect of the subjects, reflecting his fascination for old architecture. His paintings rarely feature cars, traffic signs or any other modern paraphernalia, giving the scenes a flavour of times gone by.

His work is exhibited in many local art shows, mostly in East Anglia, and at his home gallery (viewing by appointment).

Reg likes the challenge of trying to find unusual views and angles of well known scenes of the town or village where the art shows take place.

His working technique is unorthodox (so they say!) and consists of a strong drawing executed with a brush and black waterproof ink, which is then filled with acrylic paints. Reg seems to be one of the very few artists painting rainy scenes. Some of these are almost colourless as he uses only three shades mixed to produce interesting greyish tones, giving these paintings a lot of atmosphere. He does take commissions if the subject is compatible with his style of work.

I began painting again 11 years ago, having settled in Suffolk. I love the wildlife here, so decided to paint it, along with Scottish Highland landscapes, which I've always returned to.

Then, last year I was inspired to try collage, and for me the obvious subject was the wildlife around me. it's been a fun decade experimenting with paint and paper, and whilst I'm enjoying my collages I'm always wondering what might grab my attention next....! '

I am an oil painter based in Brightlingsea, inspired by the landscapes of Essex and Suffolk.

I enjoy working en plein air, painting outdoors to capture the ever-changing light, colours, and atmosphere.

Through my paintings, I try to capture the unique character and beauty of the local landscape, so that others can enjoy seeing something familiar or recognisable in them.

I am an acrylic painter inspired by colour in nature. I particularly love painting botanicals, birds and butterflies.

I am captivated by fleeting moments, such as the turquoise flash of a kingfisher in flight. The transient, ever changing state of flowers also fascinates me, and I aim to capture moments in time on the canvas.

My work is bold, and often a close up view, capturing delicate details in colour tones, of a flower’s petals or a bird’s feathers.

Having had a love for mark-making since early childhood, I have been painting  professionally for 35 years. I studied Graphic Design and Education at University but have been fortunate to be a free-lance Painter for most of my life.

Spending 7 years in the Cayman Islands in the 90's nurtured my passion for rendering vivid and expressive images. Using rich colour in my Uk paintings is one of my trademarks which is especially evident in my English Garden series.  Yet I also find beauty in a calm winter landscape or riverside vista.

I derive great satisfaction in painting and drawing. Colours, places, moods, new tubes of paint and other artists inspire me to get ideas down onto canvas, paper and digitally.

The act of creating is a great escape from the pressures of life and everyone should try it!

I paint and draw mainly landscapes in acrylic and watercolour, as well as portraits in pencil and classic vehicle illustrations in gouache.

My paintings are to be found decorating the walls of homes in Spain, Portugal, America, Finland and France as well as the UK.

Although I enjoy putting paint onto canvas and paper, it should involve as little work as possible to achieve the desired result and leave as much time for dancing, singing, drinking and eating tasty food as you can muster energy for.

I am also a keen photographer, graphic designer, gardener and DIY bodger.

Madeleine captures open land and seascapes focusing on light and atmosphere, drawing a connection between the calming natural environment and mindfulness.

Suffolk born and bred, Teresa works from her garden studio in Hollesley. She loves the way her home county provides both a heritage coastline and a rich and varied countryside with all the wildlife that contains.

As an artist, her main objective is to capture the likeness and personality of her subject. A pastel portrait has a dynamic three-dimensional quality that far surpasses the static nature of a photograph. She finds a tactile energy working with soft pastels and is particularly drawn to wildlife, animal and landscape subjects, focusing on bringing character and life to each artwork.

Teresa exhibits regularly and runs both monthly soft pastel workshops (in Martlesham Heath) and weekly classes (at Hollesley and Woodbridge) to spread the joy of pastel to wider audiences.

Patrick Will Baker was raised in the quiet landscapes of Suffolk. Life in a rural community has influenced the focus of his practice - notably the natural environment around, connections between the people within it.

Patrick works predominantly in dry media and paint, where his bold, semi-abstract style, prioritises expressive mark-making and mood over literal interpretation.

He has exhibited widely across the country, most notably with The Pastel Society, Chelsea Art Society, and at the ING Discerning Eye 2025. He won the Henri Roché Award at The Pastel Society in 2026.

Tammany is an Ipswich based artist with a particular interest in portraiture, captivated by the desire to communicate character and emotion.

She paints mostly in oils with loose expressive brush marks, creating a sense of movement and energy in her work, whilst her choice of palette accentuates the mood

I started out primarily working in portraiture, but after a couple of years of artistic block, I found my way back into making through abstract work inspired by those quiet, everyday moments and emotions we often overlook.

Letting go of perfection has opened up a more expressive and intuitive way of working, allowing me to reconnect with the process in a more personal way.

I’m an artist based in Suffolk, creating work that blends painting and illustration, inspired by the coast, skies, and the natural beauty of the county.

My process is driven by colour light, and composition. With a background in illustration and a lifelong connection to art, I aim to capture the sense of mood of a place in each piece.

Like most people from the Midlands, Ruth has always been drawn to the sea. After a lifetime of making jewellery and glass work, Ruth started painting when she moved to Suffolk.

She is inspired by the colours and textures of the East Coast but creates abstract landscapes and seascapes that are more about feelings and memory than view of a particular place.

Gill Thornton is a linocut artist who creates original, limited edition prints from her studio on the Norfolk/Suffolk borders. Her work is mostly inspired by the landscapes of East Anglia or other places she has visited. Many of her prints feature local birdlife, especially on the local fens.

Gill’s fascination with linocuts began after unexpectedly receiving a basic kit for Christmas in 2013. Since then, she has experimented with various techniques and attended a number of linocut workshops, which helped fire her interest in using the reduction method to create multi-coloured prints from a single piece of lino.

It is the unpredictability of reduction prints that Gill finds most absorbing. Her palette is generally quite muted, which gives her work a distinctive look and depth. Gill enjoys teaching linocut workshops and regularly opens her studios to visitors.
